Windows Server 2003 comes in three versions under the Microsoft Open Business License program and licenses are purchased per server:
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition - 4 GB RAM Maximum (32 GB for 64 bit installation), up to 4 Way SMP
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Web Edition - 2 GB RAM, up to 4 Way SMP, up to 2 Way SMP, limited services
Microsoft windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition - 64 GB RAM maximum (1TB for 64 bit isntallation), up to 8 Way SMP
